It is important to have a home’s full narrative before blindly jumping into such a major purchase. The Buyer’s Inspection provides home buyers with detailed information about the home’s condition, repair needs, and operation so that they can make wise decisions for their own investment.
Selling a home can seem like an overwhelming process, but a Pre-Listing Inspection can make it easier. We will inspect the home before it’s listed, helping the seller understand its strengths, weaknesses, and repair needs. They will then be able to better communicate honestly with potential buyers and increase the value of the home by making repairs and upgrades before selling.
11th Month Warranty Inspection
After a home is built, it is typically sold with a one-year warranty from the builder that covers constructional defects. During an 11th Month Warranty Inspection, we thoroughly search the property for any issues your warranty covers so that repairs can be requested in the final month.
A home’s buyer and seller will discuss repair requests after the Buyer’s Inspection. After these repairs are made, a Re-Inspection may be scheduled to ensure that both parties are satisfied that the agreements were met. We will return to the home to check the quality and completeness of repairs.
Radon is a radioactive, cancer-causing gas that rises from soil and can become trapped within the home, putting people exposed at risk. The gas is invisible and odorless, so we use professional equipment during our Radon Testing to detect and measure radon levels. Learn more about radon here.
Termites and other wood-destroying organisms can cost homebuyers and owners a lot of money on structural repairs. During a WDO Inspection, we thoroughly search the homes for signs of termite damage, infestations, and moisture that may attract the pests in the future.
